Short Biography

Jianhua Zhang is a PhD candidate in the group Technical Aspects of Multimodal Systems (TAMS), Department Informatics, University of Hamburg. 

During the stage of pursuing his master degree, he participated in several projects in the field of computer vision and medical image analysis and his research interests were focused on feature extraction, video tracking, 3D-ASM and AAM. Now he is interesting in statistical relational learning and multi-instance and multi-label learning.

 

Research Interests

  • Robotics: Multi-modal learning and statitical relational learning.
  • Computer Vision: Selective Attention, Feature Extraction, Video Tracking.
  • Medical Image Analysis: 3D-ASM, AAM.
